African American Library at the Gregory School, Houston Public Library
The African American Library at the Gregory School in historic Freedmen’s Town serves as a repository to preserve, promote and celebrate the history and culture of African Americans in Houston, the surrounding region and the African Dispora.

Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research, Houston Public Library

Collections reflect the musical and cultural development of Houston through records of the staff, the board of the governing organization, the Houston Symphony Society, and affiliated organizations and individuals.

Houston Yacht Club
Records document the history of the Club as well as boating events in Houston and yachting dating to the late 1800s.

Kinkaid School Archives
The Kinkaid School, established in 1906, is a private institution serving students from pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade. The archival holdings, chronicling the one hundred years of the school’s existence, also reflect life in the Houston community.

McGovern Historical Collections and Research Center Houston Academy of Medicine, Texas Medical Center Library

The Menil Collection Archives
The archives of the Menil Museum and Collection, Houston.

Museum of Fine Arts, Houston Archives
The MFAH Archives serves to chronicle the story of the MFAH, as well as the artistic and cultural development of Houston and the large art community, through institutional records and manuscript collections of affiliated organizations and individuals.

St. Thomas High School Archives
The Archives is the repository of the historical records relating to more than 100 years of history of St. Thomas High School. It includes manuscripts, photographs and scrapbooks, among other materials.

Sam Houston Regional Library & Research Center
The Sam Houston Center, a component of the Texas Library and Archives Commission, serves as the regional depository for southeast Texas.

San Jacinto Museum of History
The Albert and Ethel Herzstein Library collects materials relating to Texas history and the Battle of San Jacinto. It also houses an extensive Spanish manuscript collection.

Texas Southern University Special Collections Research Center
The Collection includes the Traditional African American Gallery and the Heartman Collection. It houses the university archives and several manuscript collections, including the Barbara Jordan Archives.
