David Cameron is a doctoral candidate in history at Texas A&M University. His research interests include Chicano(a) and Latino(a) history, African American history, race and ethnicity, American religious history, and the history of the U.S. Southwest/Borderlands and Texas. His dissertation explores the intersections of race and religion in Houston’s civil rights movements.
